The Foundation's first event was a Celebrity Photo Auction held in April 2006. Over 125 celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, Yoko Ono, Tom Selleck, and John Travolta donated signed photographs to be auctioned off.

Sarah Ferguson and President Gerald Ford, along with Presidents Jimmy Carter and George H. Bush, raised the most funds.

In the summer of 2006, the Foundation hosted its first Golf Outing at Island Hills Golf Club. Steve Wester lines up his putt.

Geoffrey and Sheila Sneddon gave away piggy banks, wristbands, and information about the Foundation at the 2006 St. Joseph County Fair.

The Foundation gave away two bicycles in 2006. The first was raffled off at the Three Rivers Water Festival and was won by Chad VanderMei of Three Rivers.

The second bicycle was given away at the St. Joseph County Fair to Lynn Adams of Three Rivers. Pictured are her nephew, Hunter McKenzie, and her grandson, Jaime Gamez.

The Foundation kicked off the 2007 year with a Scrapbooking Fundraiser. More than 30 women attended the event, and a good time was had by all.

Prizes were donated by individuals and businesses for the Scrapbooking Fundraiser.

Ten vendors set up displays to offer shopping opportunities to the Scrapbooking Fundraiser attendees.
