Three Rivers Health is National Avatar Award Recipient for Exceeding Patient Expectations in Service Quality for 2006
Three Rivers Health has once again been recognized as a national award winner in healthcare service quality for Exceeding Patient Expectations by Avatar International Inc., the leader in measuring customer expectations in healthcare.
In making the announcement, Dr. Michael Everett, Avatar Founder and CEO, said, “The hallmark of exceptional service to patients is to consistently meet or exceed their expectations – not always an easy task. Three Rivers Health has demonstrated that it exceeds its patients’ expectations in a tangible and measurable manner. As a winner of Avatar’s Exceeding Expectations Award, I gladly congratulate Three Rivers Health for its continued and impressive efforts to put patients first.”
In accepting the award, Laurie Herbert, Vice President of Operations for Three Rivers Health, said, “The patient survey process helps us to understand patients’ expectations for service quality. We continually invest in new technology and training for our staff, to offer the best medical care possible for our community.”
Matt Chambers, CEO for Three Rivers Health, added, “It is gratifying to once again be recognized for exceeding what our patients expect of us. Our dedicated and competent nurses and physicians, and the many health professionals that work closely with them, provide world-class care for our patients.”
The latest diagnostic imaging technology is now available at Three Rivers Health through the new 64-slice CT (computed tomography) scanner, installed in June. “Our physicians have access to detailed images of the body, available in just seconds, which helps in the early detection of disease or treatment of injury,” commented Chambers.
Construction is underway for the newly expanded Three Rivers Health Family Care center, to be located on Sixth Street, just across from the Three Rivers High School. This innovative approach to comprehensive healthcare will include primary care for the family, mental health and dental health services, and a school-linked health services program for students of Three Rivers Schools. Parents will be able to have their children seen at the office during the school day.
