The American Physical Therapy Association designates the month to celebrate the impact of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Depending on the patient and the situation, the role of a PT is quite varied and may include Acute/Hospital Care, Pre-Operative Care, Inpatient Rehab and Outpatient Rehab.
