Three Rivers Health offers you access to state-of-the-art general and orthopedic surgery right in your hometown.
A general surgeon practices preventive medicine as well as providing surgical treatment for many different areas in the body. Not only do they perform colonoscopies for cancer prevention, but also outpatient and inpatient elective surgeries, as well as emergency procedures. They repair injuries, prevent diseases, and generally improve health. They help patients to determine if surgery is necessary, evaluate the risks involved, and select the appropriate surgical procedure.
We have two general surgeons who are both currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Akiyoshi Kido is a board-certified general surgeon who performs a full range of surgeries, from tonsillectomies to vasectomies to all major surgeries.
Dr. Adria Ford has a special interest in laparoscopic, minimally invasive surgery, using a camera and small incisions, as well as the surgical treatment of breast cancer.
Dr. Kido and Dr. Ford can perform a broad spectrum of surgeries and procedures. In addition to colonoscopies, they also provide scopes of the esophagus and stomach. Other surgeries include laparoscopic treatment for hernia repairs, heartburn, colon resection, gall bladder removal, and appendix removal. They also surgically treat many diseases such as colon cancer and breast cancer, hemorrhoids, diverticulitis, bowel obstructions, ulcers, thyroid disease, as well as removal of moles and cysts.
Dr. Kenneth Wiencek is our orthopedic surgeon. He serves patients of all ages - from sports and other injuries in children, through hip and knee replacements in adults. He has specialized training in sports medicine and orthopedic trauma.
