Three Rivers Health Rehabilitation Medicine, EMG, and Pain Management Services serves patients with such conditions as low back pain, peripheral neuropathies, musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and traumatic brain injury.
Pain Services
Pain that persists beyond the usual healing course of an acute injury or disease and does not respond to standard medical treatment is considered chronic. Persistent pain can also result from chronic diseases such as arthritis, cancer, musculoskeletal or neurological disorders. Chronic pain affects all aspects of a person’s life including daily activities, family life, work, leisure time, sleep patterns, and mood. The major goals are to maximize the control of chronic pain and minimize the disability and distress associated with it. Patients will be followed until their pain is controlled, at which time they will be released back to the care of their primary care physician for medication refills.
